The Ba Na Hills cable car
The cable car is how almost every visitor reaches the resort. Several lines climb from the foot of the mountain through forest and cloud to the middle area and the summit. A single ride up takes about 20 to 25 minutes, and the round trip is part of the basic ticket. One line holds a record for its length, and the ride itself is one of the reasons people come.
The park has six or seven cable car lines, with twelve stations, four main lines and two reserve lines. Do not expect every line to run at the same moment. Read the Ba Na Hills tickets page first if you have not yet planned your entry.

Cable car lines at Ba Na Hills
The connections between the stations.
| Line | What to know |
|---|---|
| Hoi An to Marseille | Leads to the middle area with the Golden Bridge and the gardens |
| Suoi Mo to Ba Na | โ |
| Bordeaux to Louvre | โ |
| Debay to Morin | โ |
| Toc Tien to L'Indochine | โ |
| Champa to Taiga | Goes straight to the summit area |
| Hoi An 2 to Moon Kingdom | โ |
You may not be able to choose any line you like, so ask at the station which line takes you where. For the bridge and the gardens, the line from Hoi An to Marseille is the one to ask for, as the Golden Bridge page explains.
The record length
One line holds a record for the longest non-stop single-track cable car, at about 5.8 km, since its opening on 29 March 2013. Treat the figure as a 2013 record for that category, not as a current ranking of all cable cars.

Hours and weather stops
Check the last ride down.
Operating hours
The cable car runs from about 08:00 until the evening, with changes by weather. The park itself is open 08:00 to 22:00, subject to change. The last ride down differs by line, so check it for your line on the day.
Light rain
Light rain does not automatically stop the cable car.
Heavy rain and wind
Heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong wind can lead to changes or stops, and a restart is not guaranteed. Keep a spare day if the forecast looks stormy.
Weather and best time โWhat the ticket covers
The basic ticket includes the return ride on the cable car. Debay, the toboggan and some other attractions cost extra.
Ticket prices โEntering the cable car with your ticket
How the ticket check works in 2026.
Since 1 September 2026 one shared QR code replaces paper coupons for the services included in your ticket, and that covers the cable car. If you use a ticket over several days, you convert it at the ticket counter first and complete a face check before the first use. A multi-day ticket can be used for up to 3 consecutive calendar days, but the buffet and some other services work only once.
The basic ticket price in 2026 is VND 1,000,000 for an adult from outside Da Nang and VND 650,000 for a Da Nang resident. Children from 100 to 140 cm and seniors pay less, and children under 100 cm ride free. The full table is on the tickets page. The ticket does not include the Debay wine cellar, the light museum, the toboggan, climbing, prize games or the 10D cinema.
Plan the ride
Simple tips for the lines.
| Goal | Plan |
|---|---|
| Bridge and gardens first | Ask for the line from Hoi An to Marseille |
| Summit area | Ask for the line from Champa to Taiga |
| Avoid a missed last ride | Check the last ride down on the day |
| A stormy forecast | Keep a spare day and read the weather page |
For most visitors, one line up and the same one down is enough, with the bridge and the gardens as the main stop. Add the village if you have time, and see the route from Da Nang to get to the foot.
