The coast near My Khe Beach

The city centre by the Han River

The resort on the mountain
The resort lies about 25 km south-west of the centre and is reached by cable car. It suits guests who want the park in the evening or early morning, and who are fine with a mountain climate: cooler, often foggy and sometimes wet.
Ba Na Hills hotel: sleeping on the mountain
A hotel sits inside the French Village area.
One hotel stands in the French Village at the top, and guests can reach it only by cable car. Arrival by cable car is possible from 08:00 to 16:30, plus an earlier check-in at the foot of the mountain. This differs from the park hours of 08:00 to 22:00, so confirm the times with the hotel before you arrive.
For the period 1 September to 30 November 2026, a package starts at VND 4,500,000++ per room for 2 adults. It covers 1 night, a return cable car ride and breakfast. The ++ means plus taxes and service charge, so the final price is higher than the starting price. This is a dated package price, not a typical Da Nang room rate.
Do not assume that a room gives early or exclusive access to the Golden Bridge. Ask the hotel what is included for your rate. If you want a long evening on the mountain without a night, there is an evening package for the cable car after 15:00, with a dinner buffet and a bus to and from the centre. For adults from outside Da Nang it is VND 1,050,000, for children VND 850,000 and for seniors VND 1,000,000, in 2026. Not every tour includes this package.
Getting from your hotel to the mountain

Taxi
A taxi from Da Nang costs about VND 350,000 to 420,000 one way, or VND 500,000 to 600,000 return with about 4 hours of waiting. These are guide values, not fixed fares. Ask about extra waiting time before you agree.
Free shuttle bus
A free shuttle runs from the stop by the Han River at 08:30 and 09:30, with a return from the resort at 16:00. Seats are limited. You register one day in advance and should arrive about 15 minutes early. Further stops in the centre and on the coast include East Sea Park and 99 Vo Nguyen Giap. Staying near a stop makes the morning easier.
